| "Whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst" (John 4:14)
I was forever thirsty, searching and seeking with no relief. Looking in all the wrong places to quench the dryness that had become my life.
Alcohol had become my God. The constant state of numbness was all I could look to for relief.
One day it all crumbled like the great towers and through the dust and debri, a still small voice was calling "Come back to Me"
I have since journeyed back to the treasure I know to be the Catholic Church. The church of my childhood became the church of my adulthood and recovery, leading me to the bottomless "well" never to
thirst again.
